Owaxx
Born in Benin City, Nigeria, music was part of Owaxx long before it became a career.
From singing in the church choir to finding melodies on the piano, music became a place to process life. In 2014, during one of his most difficult periods, songwriting became a way to heal. Inspired by the honesty in records like Wizkid’s “Ojuelegba”, he began writing from a more personal place.
For three years he developed quietly, writing without the noise. In 2017, Owaxx entered the studio to record his first single, beginning a journey shaped by vulnerability, rhythm and a constantly evolving sound.
